So remember the sour kraut?
And my hate-hate relationship with him?
heh.
Anyway, his woman has been in the hospital lately with a cancerous lump in her leg. The radiated it and cut it out.
BUT yesterday sour kraut told Chris that they’d found spots on her lungs.
Yike.
She’s close to 7, diabetic and obese. Things don’t look well for her.
So clearly I have to feed them for xmas. The only decent thing to do.
I doubt they will be leaving thier house for xmas (2nd floor walk up) and I already have 10 people coming here for dinner so we cannot move the venue.
I’m thinking maybe we’ll make them something and send it over. (Of course they HATE turkey. And corn….they told me they didn’t have corn in germany….is that odd or what?)
so we’ll cook 2 meals and Chris can transport it over to the sour kraut and his ill woman.
then the sour kraut will complain about the food. Something he doesn’t like about it…not enough of it.
The fact that I left straight pins in his mashed potatoes.
Y’know…that sort of thing.
Well, corn IS a North American native crop. But geeze, this IS the 21st century – corn never got shipped off to Germany? Eh – more for us.
I admire your determination for running in the kind of conditions you do. I retreated to the gym months ago and I bet I’m waaaaayyyy south of you . . .
well, straight pins in the mashed potatos is a good source of iron….or something like that!
I can’t believe you’re cooking for him after everything that’s happened! You’re much more forgiving then I am! I’m still bitter about the puppy thing…and my try to hijack his dinner…which he will NOT be thankful for anyway!
Doing bad things to their food would be really immature and downright despicable. Like, if you put a pidgeon inside the turkey before cooking it? That would be really rude.
Sour Kraut? Oh crap I have a flood, fire and car accident and now you’re talking about someone I don’t know.
