Well It’s Not For Lack of Trying. December 15 2008
GAH!
I tried to run this weekend…really. I did.
I headed out on Saturday for a run.
My road was fine (sidewalk actually), but as soon as I turned the corner I was running in ankle deep snow.
Ugh.
But I kept on going. It wouldn’t have been so bad if it was sidewalk under that snow…but no…it was more snow! None of it fluffy.
It was deep heavy snow on top of deep packed snow.
So it sucked.
But the roads were kind of worse in parts because your feet slip back as you run up hills.
THere was a lot of walking involved.
In the end I cut it short and took a short cut up two flights of stairs back to my road.
Does the fact I ran up those stairs make up for anything?
Or how about the TWO HOURS of driveway shoveling Chris and I did yesterday.
TWO HOURS!
And today?
RAIN.
IN.
MY.
BASEMENT.
grr
