it’s 4pm

I am sitting in my living room having just returned from a picnic in the bush with Chris, the kids and the dogs.

Inexplicably I smell bacon.

Like freshly cooked bacon. All warm and chewy.

But.

We have no bacon.

I don’t think we even have any ham.

We’re having basmati rice and currie chicken for dinner.

No bacon.

I want bacon.

Bacon good.

It Was Dead and Now it’s Alive or Tale of the Zombie Laptop November 07 2007

My laptop was dead…dead dead.

Like..seriously.

It was dead.

And now?

Not so much dead.

Although, it has been typing random characters here and there…numbers, letters and sometime symbols I cannot identify.

At least it likes to keep things interesting.

MAYBE it’s come back from the other side CHANGED, like on pet cemetary. Remember how that little kid came back all homicidal and stuff?

Gee, I hope it’s not that.

It COULD be the cup of tea Sascha knocked over on it, but seriously? We both know it’s totally demented.

Feffie has moved in NEXT DOOR. HUZZAH!

There has been lots of coffee and tea mornings together. There have been many dinner dates and even one road trip that included more than a little bit of booze.

I am relatively sure that Tracy (Feffie’s wifey) is considering installing an alarm system that may or may not include a taser, just to ensure a little alone time. A little bow chicka bow bow time even, considering most nights I am there until we can barely keep our eyes open.

“But PAM tells us about all the running and training you’ve been doing”

NO! Fuck off, I don’t want to talk about it.

!

FINE, no running. No training really, but I have been doing quite a lot of walking.

So stick that in your hydration flask and consume it! (but not too fast, I don’t want you to cramp)

Running is in the works. It’s in the plans. In the STARS even.

oooOOooOooooOo.

Moving is also in the works.

boo for moving.

But not too far from feffie.

A necessary move unfortunatley.

I have been reading but not commenting lately…with the no keyboard thing, y’know.

My trip to Ottawa from FANTASTIC! (say it with a french canadian accent FAN-TAS-TEAK!)

Fun fun fun, lovely hotel. Lovely sites.

Lots of wine and a high rate of pay for the week.

What is not too like I ask you.

Anyway….happy November 7th…that’s all I got.
