Running Commentary

heh. February 15 2007

I worked yesterday, from 9am till 6pm. Brendan had to be at the ski hill at 8am and Noah need someone to watch him until he went to school and then after he was done (12:30-2:45).

Anyway, there was no one available and chris had to use a sick day (even though I make less money…but there was no one else that could run the store yesterday), so I left with Brendan at about 8:10 (he said his teacher told him he could be late) and on my out I shouted to Noah “Make sure Daddy comes into school to help your class decorate cupcakes!”

And he totally did. Chris stayed for the entire kindergarten class, something I have gotten to do many times, but he has not.   He sorted valentines into the kids decorated bags, he handed out the little place mats (aka paper toweling) and helped the kids decorate fabulous cupcakes. He even got to decorate on of his own…and then Noah ate before I even got home. Madame (Noah’s teacher) loved having him and asked him to thank me for making him come. he he.

Noah was seriously proud that his Daddy was there with him.  Unfortunately for Chris he didn’t understand most of the day as he remembers very little french. Which I find hilarious, because seriously…you can’t remember enough French to get you through a JK class? heh.
