Report Card December 13 2006
Yesterday was report card day at Brendan’s school, and the boy was a tad excited when he and finally met up at home.
He was hovered around while I opened it up.
We owe the kid some money. You see we have a deal, $5 for every A.
($100 if brings home ALL A’s, which thankfully this time of year, he did not)
He did however bring home 7 A’s. SEVEN A’s. And 6 B’s. Not too freaking bad if you ask me.
So we owe him $35. He’s pretty stoked about that too.
His teachers were along the lines of….Brendan is doing great and is naturally smart which has led to some great test scores, but if he would actually study he’d do even better.
Which I totally agree with, but that line is going in one ear and out the other. EVERY test is a A and every test I say…
“um..you coulda like got an A+ if you woulda studied eh?”
“Whatever dude”
Tonight is our parent/teacher interview (which I cannot attend, but Chris will) and we will be addressing that VERY subject. How do you make him study. you see when he first was all “I don’t need to study” I was all “Fine, don’t study and see what happens”
All the while thinking to myself, heheheheh it’s early in the year, one bad test mark will not kill him. A! B+! GAH!
Oh well, I guess I shouldn’t complain, things could definitely be worse in that area.
Off to work I go.
Hi ho Hi ho Hi ho Hi ho.
