Day 2

Filed under: General — pamalamadingdong @ 9:42 am

Day 2 went well, though I did nibble on a little contraban yumminess, but not nearly enough to sabotage myself.
I was grouchily hungry for about an hour before dinner, especially while feeding my children fettucini alfredo. But that’s normal, I’m always grouchy when I’m hungry.

I did not get a run in yesterday, the kids were home from school due to freezing rain, so running in it or even venturing out in it to go run on my Mom’s treadmill was not really an option yesterday.

Tonight I’ll run while the kids & Chris are at swimming lessons.

Oh my god Xmas is SO soon. I mean it’s REALLY soon. I think we will decorate this weekend just to torture the kids a bit.

Also I start my baking this weekend. Baking I have to freeze and not consume any of until xmas. Just to torture myself a bit.

Feffie has quite a few chocolately request. Shocking?

No.

And guess what she’s STILL carrying around?

That’s right.

her bling.

Chris really wants her to give it to him so he can have it made into a grill for him. That would be such a hot look for him, keeping his pimp hand strong and all that. But you Feffie she’s all ME ME ME and is totally not coughing it up.

WHAT! EVER! See if she gets that chocolate fondue she wants so badly.

pfft.

p.s. My spam has now turned into PRINTER ads. Yahoo! not bad! not bad at all! And it’s a far cry from @nal F1$ting.

:shiver:

I feel as though I’ve accomplished something, like I’ve gotten a promotion or something because today my spam consisted completely of “fibre optic” ads.

That’s hi-tech!

Feffie’s Door Prize

Filed under: General — pamalamadingdong @ 4:21 pm

Feffie works for a major Canadian Bank (all I’m sayin is that it begins with a C & ends with a C)

Anyway, they had their annual X-mas party on Saturday night. Feffie called me just before to complain about how much she DIDN”T want to go, and how she wasn’t even goign to have a drink, because she was not at all happy with most of her co workers right now and didn’t want to start tellling people exactly what she thought of them after too many shots of sour puss (what the hell IS sour puss btw?).

Anyway she finally sucked it up and went.

She promised to txt me the BORING details throughout the night.

By midnight I had gotten ZERO txt messages. So on my way to bed I sent her a “how drunk are you” message.

The conversation that followed went a little something like this:

@txt.bell.ca wrote:

i won a 2000 dimond

WHAT!

yeah door prize
Pamalamadingdong:

HOLY CRAP! What are you going to do with it

@txt.bell.ca wrote:

dunno

At this point it was 12:20am for me and I didn’t get another message, so around 12:30am we headed to bed.

We were just about to turn off the light when chris goes “is that the phone?”

Sure was.

I SPRINTED down the stairs just in time for the final ring from Feffie’s call.

I immidiately called her back.

She was peeing of course but finished up soon enough and staggered into the coat room to hide (no one really knows what she was hiding from), she told me she had one of 6 door prizes, once her name was called she was invited up to the front to choose a prize, she chose a shoe box sized box (she’s a shoe whore like me) and then set about opening it up while everyone watched.

After breaking through a tremendous amount of packing tape, rifling through a layer of bank brochures, she had to dig through a bunch of shredded documents. And at the bottom sat a tiny box that housed an arctic diamond. Half a caret.

It was appraised $2000 it has the trademark polar bear etched in it somewhere.

She;s SUPPOSEd to be putting it in a safe deposit box for safe keeping until she decides what do with it, in the meantime take a WILD guess where it is.

That’s right.

Her

BACK PACK.

Please feel free to yell at her about this.

Day 1

Filed under: And Now A Word From Our Feffie, General — pamalamadingdong @ 10:07 am

Day 1 went well, I stayed well within my points range (and by well within I mean, I JUST made it)

And I ran for an hour in my mom’s basement.

And it was hard. I know the most recent weight gain happened over the last month, hallowe’en coupled with my employment quandry made of a very snacky Pamalama.

It just takes me a while to recognize that. GOD!

School buses are canceled here today. Freezing rain is the culprit. No buses means no school for at least one of my kids, well two if they continue to be canceled this afternoon, since Noah really is the only walker in his kindergarten class.

Brendan has come up a fabulous new product idea:

DaVinci Code Cereal

Sugar coated angst

“It will blow your mind!”

Now he’s never seen or read the DaVinci code (yet) so he’s really just basing his humour on what info he gathers from TV ads and our conversations, but still…pretty funny eh?
