You shouldn’t believe ANYTHING Jon blogs about me this week.

NOTHING.

He lies.

Like a bad rug.

Seriously dude.

No one believes you.

Give it up.

Noah Logic September 28 2006

Last night Noah asked me where his heart was, and so I pointed to his chest and let him feel his and my heartbeat.

Then he asked me how our hearts stay up and not fall into our bellies.

I explained to him that our tummies were filled with all sort of things, and before I could go into even the vaguest of details he blurted out “all sorts of things like CANDY?”

He was only mildly traumatized when I told him that if his father were filled with candy I would’ve beaten him open with a stick and eaten him AGES ago.

*no phone call yet. maybe he’s busy mourning?

And Once Again The Foot Is Place Firmly Into The Mouth. September 27 2006

ok…so remember that job I applied for?

Well Chris had an interview (just for shits and giggles) with them earlier this week for a different position (but he applied like 4 days after I did). So after not hearing a word from them again today I decided to send a follow up email, just incase my resume was somehow filitered out as spam completely ACCIDENTALLY of course.

So I sent this…

Dear Mr. So&SO:

I am writing to inquire about the status of my application for the way better position than my current one with your fabulous company . My resume was sent to you on Sept 22/2006 in response to your ad on The local paper website, on that date.

I am very interested in the position and feel that my background in administration and computer technology will be a definite asset to this position.

Please let me know if you require any further information. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Pamalamadingdong

And at about 9:45 this evening I got a reply.

And my foot took up it’s natural position, inside my mouth. (does that cause shin splints you think?)

Hi Pam. I was planning on calling you to set up an interview. I have had a death in the family so i will be a few more days.
However I would like to speak to you by phone if possible tomorrow. What # and time might I call before 2:00 on Thursday.
And it’s even in red.
Do you think he totally hates me now? Cause I badgered him while he was in mourning?
Also?
OH MY GOD HE IS TOTALLY GOING TO CALL ME TOMORROW.
Send help!

GAH! TIME TIME TIME

Filed under: General — pamalamadingdong @ 3:41 pm

So I SO did not make it to the gym today. And that’s it for the rest of the week now.

GAH! I did however walk about 7km today (in the POURING rain). How fabulous am I? I had planned on running, but noticed how short on time I was running and just walked home from down instead.

Noah’s schedule at school has been all changed around and this is the first week of it and it’s HARD to get used to.

WHO GOES TO SCHOOL FROM 12:30 TILL 2:45PM! That’s ludicrous.

Oh well, we’ll get the hang of it.

So my legs are oddly sore. Sore in new ways than I remember from regular running.

Not shin splints (hard to believe I know…trust me they’ll find me again) but the very bottom of my shin where is it about to turn into foot but isn’t quite foot yet and isn’t quite leg anymore. Know what I mean?

Yeah there. HURTS. Not sure what that’s about, but I am relatively sure it has something to do with me sitting on my tushie for the last 6 months.

Running tomorrow anyway, not trying for the gym until next week.
