Gone!
I’m gone camping. Even though the weather turned sour and the rain poured down all afternoon. I am opitimistic it will clear by Tomorrow afternoon when I get off work. And I will head out of town in under sunny skies to find my family’s campsite.
They are heading there tomorrow morning. I of course am chained to my retail store.
And? I am totally bringing my running clothes.
TA TA! See ya wednesday.
So yesterday, our boss came in for a visit (she was supposed to come in on Wednesday but decided not to show up, though people did see her in the mall), she came to share with us all the sad details of the funerals and her exciting flight back. And how on her bus trip from the airport she witnessed a horrific accident and was asked to assist the severely injured truck driver dying on the road. (whatever).
And then she told us that she’s not ready to come back to work, she is taking at least 1 more week off. Possibly six.
And that’s that. I am not nearly as cranky about work as I was, since now I am getting regular days off. And not expected to work 10 + days in a row. You know?
And so we did the schedule sans boss lady once again. AND? We gave me THREE days off next week (well 4 but I know that was a mistake and it will be 3) so sunday morning the boys and Chris are heading out with our trailer to the provincial park. And I will join then sunday evening after work (and changing out of work clothes).
So. YAY for us. Camping camping rah rah rah.
The boys are excited. I’m excited.
And I’ve already started making my lists!

But he seems to think he’ll get in trouble from his Mommy, so I can’t.

I had the day off today. To spend with my boys.
And I was crabby.
All day.
I even slept late. Till 9am.
And yet crabby I was.
Crabby i am.
Crabby I will remain.
I am not at all pleased with this developement. It’s unbecoming.
Also, my clothes are tight.
And I should’ve at least attempted a run today. But I did not. As I was too busy sitting at home…being crabby.
