Out for Today May 26 2006
I am going shopping out of town today with my :shudder: Mother.
It’s a 2 hour drive there and back.
I am sure to be asthmatic by the time I get back.
BUT I going to WAL-MART and this point if I could draw tiny hearts around that word I would.
I know wal-mart is passe in the states. But you see we have no Target here (yet? I hear it’s coming). We ONLY have wal mart as the super department type deal. Well Canadian Tire, which I ADORE but you know, Wal mart is bigger and brighter and full of things like sandals for the boys and re-charger things for my whipped cream maker.
(yes I have a whipped cream maker that does NOT make me a perv..it makes me….dessert friendly).
Walmart is KICK ASS!!!!! I LOVE IT!!! I could spend a week there! (I dont like Target)

Our house seems to have a motto that if you can’t get it at Wal-Mart it can’t be got. Or, something like that, but more grammatically correct.
I wish we had Wal Mart here!

My daughter recently got a job at Starbuck’s and loves the Whipped Cream maker. Now I can get one for the house and won’t be thought of as a perv!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Wally World! It’s only an hour away! I do like le target in the states though, especially when you pronounce it in a fake french accent!
I look forward to the Canadian Tire and the Walmart flyer in our mailbox EVERY WEEK. I am always running up to my wife jumping up and down “look what a great deal they have on ______, we can’t pass this up, it may never be this low for another 100 years!” If I am lucky, we get to hop in the van and go get it.

Oh you totally had me until the ‘I love Canadian Tire’ part of your post. CT is the worst store in Canada with horrible customer service, I have had problems with almost everything I’ve purchased from that store, hell I almost lost my eye in that store and didn’t get so much as a sorry from the store manager.
Ugh just thinking about CT makes me rage lol!
