Running Commentary

ok…so I ran yesterday. Not very far, and certainly not very long but I did run! I ran from my house to the restaurant (about 3km) it was a balmy -10C and I ran on a snow covered trail…it was nicely groomed though. I think I will do it again today.
It didn’t suck nearly as badly as I thought it would, however while running up the first of 12 million hills I realized how far far away I am from any of my previous distances. It’s gonna take some time getting back up there and that my friends just plain sucks!

Noah, the lazy bum is still in bed…it’s 9am! We have things to do! He is totally going to day care today so I can witness the new HOT CHICK that Chris hired…it’s her first day you see and she’s annoying as hell. She’s been stalking us for WEEKS for a job…finally she sent some social services agency over to talk to us. They’ve given her to us for FREE for one month and then for 3 months after that? They subsidize about $5.50/hr of her wages (minimum wage here is $7.85) so…how can you say no. Plus it turns out her parents are LOYAL regulars..they are in EVERYDAY…ugh…I have a bad feeling about this.
Anyway off to drown my sorrows in tea! And then run to the restaurant again!
But this time! I will send clean and decent clothes with Chris,..as well as a flat iron as not to look so disgusting today.
Yesterday I was out front fixing our debit machine during our lunch rush in running tights and heavy running shirt a toque and a running jacket. Although while I was standing there getting some VERY odd looks I couldn’t help but chuckle at the actual price of my entire outfit. YIKES! Running clothes are expensive! We’re talking at $400 if you include the shoes! What the hell! For that reason ALONE i have to start running again.
