Running Commentary

I am a restaurant widow!
I tell you it’s a sad sad tale
My husband leaves home at about 5:30am and does not return until (the earliest) 9pm. Then? He quickly showers (stinky bugger) and collapses on the couch. Snoring in about 4 minutes.
My life however has slowed down quite nicely. I don’t work again until xmas eve (hurrah) and even then it’s only for 3 hours. All of management has to be there (whatever) and really I am going for the junkfood…pie, presents and the ability to wear my jammies (ones from my store of course) to work that day. Yes I Will take photos…yes I might post them.
The restaurant is extremely busy. Like BUSY BUSY right now. Which is a good thing…I know…I just hope it doesn’t give us some false sense of what business will always be like you know? Scares me.
However, people have been talking…they LOVE Chris’s food…LOVE IT. A good thing. They love that everything is homemade. They LOVE his burgers and his clubs and his bread. And they love the cakes and stuff.
Anyway the point it? I AM A SINGLE MOTHER. And NO Jon I am NOT whining I am simply stating the fact.
I had a running date set up for today but Noah needed some mommy time so my run will either not happen or will happen after 9pm tonight…so that means…it won’t happen. heh.
