You’ve clearly miss heard me April 30 2005
There was this big drag show last night.
I’ve gotten to know most of the local drag queen, lots of fun, great guys. One of them I’ve gotten know particulaly well, my all time favorite drag queen! DREW love him! Drew was hosted last nights event.
So anyway back to the drag show!
Four of us went together, I was seated between my ex and some straight guy in a really ugly suit. I didn’t know this guy at all…but politely responded to whatever he said to me.
Until I had a few drinks, after that i was a little more chatty…
He asked me if I liked drag, Drew was preforming at this point…this is how the convsations went….can you see where it went wrong…
“do you like this kinda of thing”
“Oh yeah, I love Drew”
“Oh I love you too”
Oh no no no I said DREW…not YOU…DREW! Funny how one word changes things so drastically!
He totally thought I wanted him…ewww boys are yucky. And what the hell kinda pick up line is “I love you” anyway.
I love you too Feffie but I’m an icky 37 year old married guy who’s obviously got nothing better than to reinforce the straight stereotypes of men you are meeting.
I bet “I love you” would be a great pick up line, particularly for a girl. Of course you could probably quote the price of pigs in Tulsa and pick up guys.
It beats “whats your sign?”
