This is a 2 year old after my own heart. And, truth be told, my parents have a photo of me somewhere around this age with my own face in a pink cake. Of course mine was pink and an entire cake (it was toddler sized).
p.s. weight watchers tonight. 16 lbs!
Hello hello!
Just wanted to let you know that I am still alive. I survived my parents visit.
They spoiled everyone nicely. And went home today around noon.
I ran 16km on Saturday it was hilly and lovely and I felt like I was actually running for the first time since my last race. Loved that ( even though I left the house thinking I was only going for 12…oh well).
I bought a new running vest and a winter running top (love it) and finally splurged for a cool-max balaclava…last year I wore a fleece one that did not cut the mustard (or the cheese for that matter) I was all covered in frost at the end of my -20 celcius runs last year.
I did resort to some comfort foods this weekend but I’m not sure how bad it got.
I will know tomorrow night I guess.
Also, I didn’t run tonight. I was SO freaking tired. So tired I felt HUNG OVER. So I went to library to take out a book….I ran a hot bath…added some epsom salts….plopped myself in and opened the book.
I read approximately 2.5 pages until I realized I had READ IT BEFORE! Argh! I hate that.
Back to library tomorrow. Any suggestions?
Also, I borrowed a Pilated DVD from the library and seems really good. I am anxious to try it out, I watched the intro this afternoon (while waiting for my bath to fill). The woman seems to know what she’s talking about, she’s obviously in shape and well coiffed, so I was surprised that NO ONE informed her that her naughty bits are PERFECTLY outlined in the tights she is wearing. COMPLETE CAMEL TOE if you know what I’m sayin. So, the 6 minutes I did watch of I was totally fixated on her anterior nether regions.
So clearly that’s gotta go back too. I got stuck in the pilates stance cause I couldn’t see what she was doing with her arms! Pull those tights OUT OF THERE! Why aren’t you wearing underwear! I think she’s had a brazillian wax! Anna has to back to library…I need someone with LOOSE fitting pants.
Yesterday was Noah’s birthday, and since our little party isn’t until Saturday we gave him only one present and we saved he cake and real excitment for then.
Brendan though decided he had to give him his home made card.

I believe at this point I would’ve been still in recovery. He would still be in his little glass cube, naked and pink.
Today, he is STILL asleep, having decided that last night was the night he would stay up and jump on Daddy and Mommy until 10pm.
Happy Birthday litte guy.
My parents are allegedly coming tomorrow (unless the snow that is forecasted comes).
So today I am cleaning cleaning cleaning and maybe a little obsessing.
Did I mention I love 14.8 lbs?
