Little Noah had a hoot tonight. It was his first official active trick or treating halloween. The mask didn’t scare him, he just ROARED at anyone with a scary out fit.

He got and ate A LOT of loot. It’s was pretty cute.

Brendan did a few more houses after Noah retired to the stroller and then he too was ready to pack it in.

He is the ONLY child I know that comes in from trick or treating and immediately runs to the washroom to brush his teeth before even looking at his booty!

In other news, Chris and I almost killed a child tonight. Remember the egyptian princess? Well he came with us tonight. Good lord. First off he went house to house saying “trick or treat put it in the bag.” and then later he would say “I can’t have that kind, I am allergic to red dye it makes me jiggly”. Also he had this tin foil covered bucket on his head (he was knight of co
urse) and we would say “Come on your majesty we’re going this way now” and he would continue obliviously down the street in the wrong direction. And after about 7 houses he began to include “can this be the last house” “May I please go home now” after every treat was deposited into his bag.
What are ya gonna go?

What a colourful life you lead. Read that entry today that self describes you. LAYER ONE LAYER TWO, did not understand that – but the more I read, the funnier I think things are with you. You are a very interesting writer. Never boring. I think I have too much time on my hands… Usually I poke around someone’s blog for a few days and give it up.

LOVE your new place. Mine is up and running too..come visit! I SO miss Trick or Treating with my kids, now ages 18 and 21. Tried to talk them into going this year but they chickened out – Laura and I got dressed up and hit one house – did you know that Skittles bags glow in the dark? How cool is THAT?

Kids in Germany still have to learn from you folks…
Nice new place! Blogfather cares about you ;-)

Deene Says:

Oh, one of those kids. They can get pretty annoying but I don’t think they improve with age either. Probably end up being one of those Ph.D. nerds that others will have to kiss up to one day.

I read the other post about this kid first. I think he deserves a quick stun with a tazer. I love the “I get all jiggly” line. : )

I found it! I found who this kid reminds me of. Kat told me. She knew lickity split:

http://imdb.com/title/tt0119590/

It’s a movie called Ma Vie En Rose, and the kid in this movie sounds like a dead ringer for his royal knighthood.
