Sorry I haven’t had a real chance to be at the computer to respond to emails and comments … I feel completely schmucky about that.

The bone scan is today. He is in tremendous pain on some days — where he can’t go to school until it seems to subside with some pain meds mid-day.
We went to Victoria this weekend, where we stayed with some friends. Watching the kids run around, I know that none of this is a boy faking it, as he limped while playing with his buddies. He even opted not to go for a few walks, because of the pain.
Now that the bad xray (oh believe me, Jon, I was frustrated with that comment too) ruled out Perthes disease, or supposedly did, I’m beginning to think maybe juvenile arthritis? Or maybe I’m just pacifying myself because I don’t want to entertain the thought of worse things right now.
Hopefully the results come back soon, that’s all I can say. We need some treatment here, as Troy’s quality of life is really sucking, with this much pain.
