bones grow and sometimes that hurts. when i used to baby sit and the little ones had aching legs i would use "many" pillows - i knew - i had fallen asleep myself with my legs upright against a wall. In fact I did this into my early twenties. Girls have this problem it seems more than boys (especially during the onset of menses) but it was not uncommom for me to fill hot water bottles and the like for little boys too.

as for hip pain - don't ly on the side of the body. learn to sleep on the front or the back. it's not as 'comforting' but it is less painful. in time your son may feel less pain and then can sleep again in a comforting curl.

thoughts & prayers,

He didn't like it? What the heck did he mean by that? It wasn't done right? He couldn't see something? I hate when doctor's give unhelpful comments like that. I have to ask them questions at that point until they do that thing where they are half out the door as they answer so they can run away quickly before you ask another.

Have a good Thanksgiving. Keeping fingers crossed for all of you.
