RBF chat … anyone?

Filed under: General — beverly at 10:29 pm on Thursday, August 25, 2005

A thought: are any RBFers interested in chatting online? We could post a day and time and meet with Messenger or whatever works … I’d love to chat with y’all (I never say that in real life, but somehow get a kick out of typing it) in real time and zap you for all of your running knowledge ….

Your thoughts?

My goodness, people. Quit all demanding it at once … it’ll be too difficult to organize with so many chatters …. ;)

They’re all in Zen-pose, meditating about their long runs this weekend :)

That sounds like a very neat idea to me. It would be kind of cool to get together and “talk” to everybody!

The RoadScholars (an online running community at Y! Groups) used to do that every Sunday night at 8 pm – we should definitely do that!

Zen pose. Very funny, Lara. Don’t let Mark hear you say “pose” without capitalizing it.

I’d like to try the online chat, although its possible my computer wouldn’t do well with it. I think your connection has to be fast.

i keep my ‘google talk’ running all day at work, but when i’m home, i rarely launch any chat software. maybe i’ll keep it on from now on.

aim as ‘anaginghipster’
yahoo as ‘anaginghipster’
msn as ‘geek at ihsservices net’
google talk as ‘anaginghipster at gmail com’

if folks are using different IM platforms, trillian allows you to manage aim, yahoo, msn, icq and irc all in one piece of software.
