Okay, I think you get how my day went. Grrrrrr. I need to figure out what’s wrong with this ankle.

(If you’re a doctor who is PRO-running and is reading this …. (Why?!?! Don’t you have journals to read …. patients to see …. charts to view?!!? C’mon!?!?) …. my apologies. This is merely my creative vent on another frustrating appointment about my ankle.)

How frustrating! I know how annoying doctors can be. I really hope you can find one who will help you with your ankle soon.

Try a sports medecine clinic, physiotherapist, or fitness store. Chances are, if there’s a doctor who runs in your area, they’ll all know him/her.

Frustrating. Perhaps time to find a Doctor who isn’t so biased? There are doctors out there who are pro running. There is one in Edmonton who specializes in runners. I will see if I can find his name if you like?

I don’t want to sound biased but DOCTORS SUCK! There, I said it.

Are there any universities near you that have a sports medicine center?

Can you get your GP to give you a referral to an orthopedist? And along with all these dispiriting and presumptuous lectures are any of them doing anything to actually diagnose the ankle problem??

Even though I went through this same scenario just last summer, I still find it freakin’ unbelievable!!

And your Convention Agenda is tragically hilarious :)

I am so sorry about your injury. I know it’s so frustrating. I did find a sympathetic PT who helped me run as much as possible while I healed. Good luck Bev
