Man it’s been cold around here. I really need to get out and go for a run. I usually don’t let the cold or the snow or anything stop me from getting out there. But there cold and then there is dang cold. Dang cold requires way too many layers…lol. So what’s a girl to do if she needs to train? Well since Friday’s are supposed to be my “rest day” but with my 100 Days Challenge there is no rest so I decided a walk would be great.
Thank heaven for the +15 covered and somewhat heated walkways downtown. I managed to stay out of the cold and still get in a moderate workout – 35 minutes of walking. Where I could I walked briskly but I made the mistake of going at lunch so some areas were a tad crowed. Next time I go earlier.
