Happy Birthday Canada!
Today is Canada’s Birthday and most of us get a day off. Yeah! I was gonna head downtown to check out the celebrations and deliver some flyers for the upcoming race. But just before I headed out I was hit by a bad upset tummy and I still haven’t bought any Imodiun. So instead I am spending it relaxing and downloading some tunes. Perhaps later I will do some housework . And oh yeah, I have a kazillion blogs to catch up on. So if I miss commenting on yours, oops sorry. Thank goodness I took a speed reading course a few years back. It comes in real handy at times like this.

My buddy Karen also wishes a happy birthday. But be prepared, she also talks about chocolate and candy. You might just be hit with a snack attack.

LouBob has a beautiful catus picture on her site. Heres’ hoping she recovers from her aches and pains in time to join myself and Karen for the Half Marathon next Sunday (July 10th).
Warren aka Salty War spent Canada Day morning running a 10k race as part of the cross canada HBC Events. We had one here, but I’m saving myself for next weekend. He claims it was the best of times/worst of times. I think he could of used some Imodiun as well.

Ok I may not have found all of my fellow Canadian Bloggers out there but I do have to do some other things besides spend all day on my computer. You think I’d get enough of this thing at work that the last thing I would want to do is be on here on my day off. Besides this is not the “Runner’s Carnival“. Looks like they didn’t have a volunteer to host it this week. I see Mark is doing it the week of July 11th. Be sure to check it out. Its a great way to see what the rest of the gang is up to and sometimes find some one new and interesting.
