I ran 14 miles yesterday, which was amazing considering I had no sleep. I spent the weekend with the Boy Scouts up at West Mountain. They went tubing and skiing, and I read a book. I should have just done the drop off and slept in my own bed, but I stayed and slept on the floor. Felt like crap.
The run really sucked at the beginning because I had a massive crap in my left shin. It took about 5 miles to work it out. Then I did ok.
But this morning I have a migraine. So looking forward to going in to work.
14 miles is a long marathon run, well done. Winter is leaving. Very soon you will have good weather to be consistent in your 14 miles runs. Regards
yikes, hope your head is better and you got some rest. But fitting in that 14 miles is huge!
Oh Jon, I do hope that migraine subsides my friend ~hugs and that your sleep tonight is extra restful.
I must admit though, I’d be the same as you and would have opted to stay out in the woods/mountains even if it did mean a rough sleep. ~winks
I hope by now you are feeling better: hydrated and healed. Congrats on the 14 miles.
Wow, 14 miles! And sleeping on the floor… :) But I’m sure you had a fullfilling day with that one, minus the migraine. :)
