I have 2 very wise things to say to you:

1). In 5 years you will be 5 years older than you are today regardless of whether or not you are doing what you want to do. This comes to you from someone who is 53 and planning on getting a new graduate degree.

2). 6 pieces of candy don't taste better than 1 piece of candy. 1 piece of candy is delicious and makes you feel happy and good. 6 pieces of candy feels compulsive and then it makes you sick. Eat 1 piece really slowly and savor it. You'll be happier.

There are always left over desserts around the office here. And not gonna say that I'm innocent, I brought a whole bag of Kisses to work yesterday in an effort to rid my apartment of them.

BTW, where's the rest of the story?

I'm convinced that people who bring candy to work are evil. But if it's chocolate, I can't stay away either. Great job on getting the runs in! It definitely should do some good in the battle against the candy-doers.
