high def

At a store tonight, they had nice plasma TV showing a high definition DVD playing.

It was so sharp.  So crisp.  There was something almost mesmerizing about seeing so much detail.   I could hardly look away.  It made me feel all funny inside.

those feelings are natural Jon…it means you’re growing up and becoming man

We have deep high def lust at our house. We were at Frye’s the other day and my 7-year-old just stopped right in front. They were playing Pirates 3 on it and he sat and stared for a while. When he came too, he said, ‘That’s GOT to be Hi-Def. Cool.’ If only I could find a spare $3K.

My hubby didn’t back away…. In a few months we have start making payments on his shiny new TV - the shiny new TV that shows nothing but TreeHouse all day. Gotta love larger than life Dora!

I have to close my right eye when I walk into Costco these days. That’s where they have a complete line-up of every imaginable flat screen hi def product. And wouldn’t you know it, the Super Bowl is next weekend. Keep walking Jon.

So when will the programming improve to match the picture?

I keep looking for the knob that turns up the intelligence on my TV, but I can’t find one. There’s one that’s labeled “brightness” but it doesn’t work.

(Apologies to whichever comedian I heard that from, I can’t remember)
