my teeth hurt

I’m up at 3 am because my teeth hurt from my sinuses being full.  I caught a cold from someone at work.  Why do people come to work sick when they get paid for sick days?  I  lose money when I can’t work, they get paid.

I missed alot of mid-week runs last week.  My Dad was in the hospital and I spent evenings there.  He’s out now and ok.  But now I’m sick and skipped last night’s run, hoping it would help me get well faster.  It hasn’t.  I feel like crap.  The Tylenol I took 2 hours ago is not easing the pain.   I may take ibuprofin now too.  And vicodin.

I’m training for a marathon so I’m reading the blogs of other runners to keep up the inspiration. I’m awake because I’m working nights on an outage. Wanted to mention to you that the guys that go all over the world working on our turbines swear by AirBorne. I was getting pretty sick with a cold that my fiancee had passed along to me and I took the AirBorne for a couple days straight and feel much better. It’s like a turbo charge to your immune system. You put the tablet in water and drink it every 3 hours. Hope this helps!

my teeth hurt too when I am sick, I thought that was just me.

Hope you feel better soon. It’s probably a combination of germs at work and stress.

At least you caught the cold this week and not next - I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Sorry you are sick. Rest and fluids - but you knew that.

People go to work sick because they worry about their work not getting done. Americans are totally neurotic that way. The other reason is if you have a pool of PTO days. That so encourages people to show up sick so they can save the PTO for vacation. Such a bad idea.

I get so angry at those people who come to work sick. I wish I had a thunderbolt staff with which I could smite them.
