Outed

It was bound to happen eventually.  I was outed at work.  Egads.

Apparently, one of my collegues googled “jon” and “chocolate” and my blog popped up #1.  Go figure.  Apparently there were enough clues on my blog to make it incredibly obvious that she was in the right place.  Clever little bugger.

However, she has been sworn to secrecy and let us hope that the rest of the band doesn’t do the same search.  I can’t imagine what types of things I’ve said that would embarrass or humiliate me at work.  I’m sure the rants and swearing will not go over so well.  Sigh.  I am what I am.

In other not-so-dramatic-news,  I ran three miles.  I did crosstraining Sunday and Monday for an hour each, which is helping keep me from sliding backwards.  It was incredibly humid again, which just drains me.  Three miles running in soup is like, well, running in soup.  Tomorrow, more soup.

That’s it.  I had something to write earlier but I forgot what it was.

Yikes, I often wonder if anyone at my work ever googles me. I hope not!

Look at the bright side–at least maybe it’s an indication she finds you an interesting person. That’s a plus.

She can also see how terrific you look in a tux.

Uh oh - you mentioned that she’s a blogger too - hopefully she’ll keep your blog a secret.

Maybe you could bribe her with some of your homemade truffles, I know I would zip my lips if you were making those for me every week. Funny, I ran in soup yesterday too.

tis the very reason I seldom say anything about the office that could be held against me. I know half of Calgary reads my blog…lol. I know that cause well, they run by and say “heh, I read your blog” complete strangers to me…lol.

Who finds you and how is never really that surprising. Google “Pink Chick” and my site is the 5th choice. Google “Dawn on the Run” and I’m the first two choices. Google my full name, Dawn Henry and a race report I wrote for another site is the second choice. I do well in search engines…lol
