The basement is dry again (though I see storm clouds looming as I type) and gutters look like they will cost about $1000. I suppose that’s cheaper than throwing out everything I own after it gets soaked. And nobody wants a wet moldy basement.

First let me say the Boilermaker 15K was a fabulous race! There were 12,000 (?) runners in the 15K, and easily that many spectators lining the roads. This was one of the biggest races I had ever been in so it was a big deal to me.

I’m at Lara’s house! Its very cool. I can’t be online too long because we’re heading out to the Boilermaker 15K this AM. Apparently, it will be very hot. Yea. I’m hoping for good snacks at the end. :)
