Running shoe stores? Here? Naaaaahh.
I’ve been trying in vain to find a running shoe store in my area. There aren’t any. Apparently, the runners here either order online or they feel that Foot Licker and Dickies Sporting Goods have enough selection for anyone.

Sadly I am in the same boat.
Although there are a lot of runners in this area so our local sports store (has been in operation and owned by the same family for 50 yrs) carries a LOT of running apparel.
However they do not do fittings. They do not watch you walk/run and suggest a model.
And they had to ORDER my model.
I wear a pretty popular model.

You know Jon, you could do well to think about opening a store. You ARE the expert on running and a whole lot more. So does anybody run in your neck of new York?
