Out of left field

Avril makes me smile.  :)

Unlike Bratney, Avril can sing.  And she doesn’t need hours of airbrushing before they put her on a poster.  A Bratney poster without gobs of airbrushing is not something you want to spend time looking at.

I think of Bratney as some two-bit bimbo they plucked out of overall-land, gave her money, a sound track to lip sync to, and 25 back up singers to hide her rotten voice.  Was anyone surprised that she turned out to be a flaming idiot who would do crazy crap and then beg the world for support?  Support?  WTF?  The moron has more money than the combined income of the people reading this post.  I think she can afford to spend a little more time getting her sh!t together and a little less time exposing her crotch to the media so she can cry about it later.  Bratney, go back to rehab, stay there, forever, and spare your children the grief of having to see you again.  There’s no way you can honestly say that your poor children are not going to grow up as f’d up as you are.  No way.

Back to Avril.

Did I mention I like Avril?  I do.  :)

    You are too funny. I agree with everything you said, but not a big fan of Avril (singing yes) personality….not so much. Gwen’s the girl. She’s got style. Just my opinion. (not that you asked or anything) :)

    Avril has managed to keep the young part of being a pop star, without going totally Bratney overboard. I’m not saying she’s mature, just not as stupid as some.

    Some of her songs annoy me to no end (especially the new Girlfriend one), but I really, really like this one lately, Keep Holding On:

    I like Avril too. I really have a strong feeling that she’s around for the long run.
