Did I forget the post title again?
Four easy ones out on the path this morning. My son went with me again and I decided we are going institute a new running/bike rule. 20 foot clearance.
He was riding in front of me on the grass in a gear that was far too hard for him to pedal, and then suddenly decided to turn onto the asphalt path. His wheel turned 180 degrees and he went crashing to the ground, followed almost immediately by me over top of him.
No serious injuries but alot of annoyance.
We’ve nice weather for several days now and I get to try out the new mower today. I have some parts on order for the self-drive unit. I can’t tell exactly hwy it won’t drive but I suspect the gear is worn too much. For $20 I can order alot of the parts that I suspect are not fitting properly. I know that sounds stupid. I can’t help it.
Speaking of stupid. For some reason I find this incredibly funny.
Have a great weekend.

Some of my fondest memories are of my kids riding their bikes with me while I did long runs. I also instituted a similar rule where they stayed about 50′ ahead of me (except at intersections). I found that if they rode behind me they were a bit to close to my heels.
