I love Firefox, but the spelling?

I really do love using Firefox because I HATE Internet Destroyer (aka IE). But Firefox now has a spellchecker which is good EXCEPT when you accidentally allow a bad word into it. Just try and get it out again.

The problem is that the “add to dictionary” choice when you right click to right next to the alternate word choices. One wrong unclick and you’ve just installed a bad work FOREVER.

Supposedly there is a file called persdict.dat someplace that I need to edit. Don’t have it. Can’t find it. Does Firefox have an edit feature in the menu someplace? Nope.

Firefox folks usually hit it right on bullseye everytime. But this time they missed by a mile!

    That’s funny. I love Firefox and the spell check feature. I had no idea that you can add a word to the dictionary. Maybe it is a good thing I didn’t know that so I don’t end up in your shoes! Good luck figuring it out.
