I’m not running tonight
I have 3 miles on the schedule but I’m not going. My calves are killing me. And not the soreness you get from too much workout, but a sharp stabbing pain that radiates around and forward to my shins. It hurts to walk, it hurts to walk down stairs. I think that if I want to make my speed workouts this week, that I need an extra rest day. Stretching and massage may help loosen them up, but one more day of running on the pavement is not going to help. I could go to the Y, but its 8:00 now and I won’t get home until late. I need sleep.
Hope you are are having a good week so far. Pam apparently put up frilly curtains while I was locked out.

Hey Jon from Michigan…thanx for visiting my blog. Yep it’s raining still:)) Actually there’s a T-storm!
The exam I’m studying for is for getting into a Masters program. I still have a whole lot of studying to do…the deadline is in February.

Whoa…sore calves are no fun at all. I think it’s wise to take a break. Rest is just what you need. You’ll be back at it very soon and better for having taken the time off.
