Heh, heh. Sorry, Pam. :)

That classic Pam conversation was just too good not to post. I will ofcourse gladly remove it if you want. :)
I ran 7 miles today, and 5 yesterday. Yesterday felt very good and this morning was dreadful. My legs we like lead, my right knee had that weak wobbly feeling, and I got sharp pain in my left shin around mile 6. I think the asphalt is killing me.

I did find a nice mile long strip of grass on the shoulder that helped immensely but I think for the long runs I need to find some real trails because this is just not working out. My legs are really sore right now and I’m just exhausted.
Last week I missed all my speedwork due to evening events. The events with free dinners were nice, but missing the workouts for the second week in a row pretty much kills my training. I suspect the 5K is not going to be very good.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

PS

I just want to add that Bloglines totally blows lately. Their updating has been horrendous. Yes, its free, but its just not very reliable lately.

PPS

I’m number 1 on the list of running blogs over at Blogshares! Its a good week when the market is swinging in your favor. :)

Give Newsgator (www.newsgator.com) a try. Slicker interface than Bloglines, and it’s pretty easy to export your feeds from BL to NG.

Plus, for Mac types, it’s integrated with Net News Wire, which is a pretty slick desktop RSS client.

When is the 5K race? I’m sure you’ll do just fine. I’m with with you on the blog, ines thing. Their new “wizard” wiped my feeds out and i can’t see anything but they keep telling me it’s there. Whatever. Technology sucks. Period.

Thank you, thank you thank you. I thought maybe I was going crazy using bloglines and it seems like its getting worse. At least I know if I’m crazy, you are too.!!!

What, you live right in the very middle of the concrete jungle! There has to be a dirt trail somewhere. Congrats on being a winner both with blogshares AND with Pammie!

How’d you get up there? I’m at 64…now the song is stuck in my head “will you still need me when I’m 64″.
