Haven’t we been here before?
Fate: [poking head around the corner] By the way? You threw your back out again.
Me: [curled up in the fetal position on the floor] Thanks.
Fate: Don’t mention it.

Dear Jon -
Please forgive me. I’m laughing hysterically even though someone I know is in tremendous pain. I hope you understand, and right now Karma is winding up to deal me a tragic blow. But, as someone who is better with words than I am once said, “Tragedy is when something bad happens. Comedy is when something bad happens to someone else”.
Yours,
Bill
PS: Get Well Soon.

That sucks. You need to make friends with Faith, Hope, and Joy so they can cheer you up during your injury. (sorry, I couldn’t come up with other names)

Okay, think about something else. I’ll be in New England over Labor Day. If you run New Haven, I will too.

I feel your pain. Threw my back out a month ago, and I am finally, finally back to almost normal.
