No YouTube for me?
I found that I cannot see when people put YouTube links on their page. I have Firefox, but the problem only occurs on the laptop. Using firefox from another computer works fine. The freaky thing is, that it doesn’t even appear in the page source. Like its not even there at all. I tried shutting down the virus protection, and Adblock, and opening up all kinds of restrictions and NOTHING works. Anybody ever hear of this before? Or is this just the usual Jon-is-once-again-screwed-up type situation?
Update: Fixed. I ended up uninstalling Firefox and then reinstalling it, and adding my flashplayer on again. Oddly enough, even thougth I deleted everything, Firefox found my bookmarks someplace anyway, AND found the list of blocked ads for Adblock. Weird. Anyway, it works now.
UPDATE 2: Correction, it was not Firefox. It was my Norton firewall. Youtube uses ActiveX controls and Norton decided that was bad and blocked it. I haven’t figured out how to allow them from each site individually, so I have to either allow ALL ActiveX or permit them indiviually when the message pops up. I need this to work though, because I like to see Leah dance. :)

This is the one area where you received the computer genes from our long lost parents and I did NOT. Pretty much half the words in your last entry were like another language to me! Sorry I won’t be able to help with this one, bro!
