Free Wud
I was getting rid of some firewood today. I had stored it in the garage so it was just as dry as could be. I spend about 20 minutes moving it all to the road, and even made a nice little sign.
Turn around to walk away and a big truck pulls up. 5 minutes later the wood is gone and all I have left is the sign.
Free sign. Just add wud.

I hope that’s not the remains of your house…

Wouldn’t it be great if we could get rid of all our extra stuff that easily!

What is that behind the wud pile? A tennis court? Basketball? State pen exercise yard?

In a neighborhood where I used to live, the same thing would happen with bathroom fixtures. Leave a toilet, a bathroom sink, a vanity or medicine cabinet at the curb, and 5 minutes later it’d be gone. Kitchen sink? Until the next garbage pickup. Even a toilet seat by itself would disappear.

Good way to get rid of your wood! Nice photo of you - maybe it’s time for a trim???
Thanks for your comment. They did have water and gatorade in cups at the finish line which was good. We walked back to our hotel and had a bagel and PB instead of waiting in the long lines.

I feel ashamed that I’m the only one who chuckled at the “Free Wood” sign.
Proof that my mental age is probably stuck at about 13.
