This is bad

Posted By Jon on March 4, 2006

Its about 1:30. I haven’t had chocolate for three days. All day long I was thinking about it. When I went to the store tonight, I was so annoyed and bothered by seeing all the chocolate on the shelves. Normally, I kinda browse through it, even if I don’t buy any. This time I didn’t even want to look, knowing I wasn’t going to get any.

I have a headache and I feel so very tired, spacey. Isn’t that stupid? Could it really be this bad? Can you really go through withdrawls from chocolate? Maybe I’m just sleepy. Maybe it was the sugar. My weight has dropped a little in the past few days. I probably normally eat between 500 and 1000 calories in chocolate a day, so its possible.

I watched Supersize Me tonight. Holy crap. I’m watching this guy and how he feels and what is going on and I’m saying HELL YEAH! He felt aweful but when he ate more of the junk food, he felt better. Maybe that happened with the chocolate. We’ll see in 37 days I suppose.

And did ya spot that line in one of the links from yesterday?

“Resisting the desire to eat chocolate could cause the desire to become more prominent.”

I have a 15 mile long run tomorrow. I hope I can make it. I need to get some sleep.

Hmmm…makes sense that the desire would increase! Hope you have/had a great 15 miler.

I felt the same way when I quit drinking coffee! Could be caffiene withdrawal, poor you!

  3. I think it can be that bad. People who go cold turkey off of coffee get terrible headaches.

Hang tough! You should feel better in a few days.
