From the mouths of babes
Sunday, I was in the mall with my son buying a box of Godiva chocolates for our aunt who turns 100 this week (she’s a chocolate lunatic, no blood relation). Naturally we had to buy some truffles for me and my son too. He got one, I got three.
“Why do you get three?”
“I’m three times your size.”
“I thought you were trying to lose weight?”
“I am. Tomorrow. Tomorrow I’m going to lose weight.”
“I thought today was crosstraining?”
“It is.”
“I don’t see that happening.”
Smartass.

I think it’s great that there’s a chocolate lunatic who is turning 100! That gives the rest of us hope.

I think taking kiddos shopping counts as crosstraining. At least taking my youngest does.

booyah!!! i think everyone needs a watchdog. that would be awesome if i had a live-in trainer or someone else to get on my case. i would want to kill them on a daily basis of course, but not once i achieved my goal :)
