I ran 7 miles today in the new fallen snow. Lots of mud and slush. 8:51 pace and it felt like I was going out easy too. I was damn psyched to see the final time on the Forerunner. Not a single doggie came out to play which is lucky for them. There were to black horses down the road that came up to the fence to watch me run by. Hi horsies.
I’ve been trying to clear the diving gear out of the house. Its taking up space and I’d rather have the money in my pocket than sitting on the floor. I forgot how much time it takes to get stuff up on Ebay, but now that I’ve kinda got a template I can throw stuff up all kinds of stuff. Got a big stack of boxes next to me just waiting to be shipped to the highest bidder. If they are nice, I’ll probably throw extra dive goodies in the box.
This is a pic of something I am not selling but I wanted to show you how very cool dive gear can be. This is a stainless steel Halcyon backplate.
It holds your buoyancy compensator and your tank(s). Straps fit through the plate and you kinda wear it like a backpack. Very heavy above the water but just alot of weightless mass in the water. I love this plate because I got it dirt cheap and they cost around $200. And its beautiful too. 6 pounds of stainless steel heaven. Makes me happy just to hold it.
Its been a busy week, and I have to go back to work on Tuesday. Bleh. I like vacation. If someone has a few million dollars they want to send me so I can stay on vacation, please let me know.
Oh and speaking of imaginary money, I won B$500,000,000 in a Blogshares contest. Blogshares is a fantasy stock game where Blogs are the stocks and buy and trade them with fake Blogshares dollars, B$. If you go there, you can search for your blog and claim it. They give you B$5000, 1000 shares of your blog, and then you can start trading. Lots of wierd stuff to do in there.
I got a postcard from Karen’s House of Pain, asking me to call for an appointment. Maybe I should go and get things loosened up before I have actual injuries. Maybe I can head them off at the pass. Its tough to find a time to go though.

So, if you’re getting rid of your diving stuff, are you hanging onto that backplate so you can, like, wear it around the house? I mean I’m sure it looks great on you but…just wondering ;)

um, your buoyancy compensator looks very … uh, sexy?? You love it so much, you should get to keep it! Actually, it looks like armor, so reminds me of the black knight…

I saw the snow and i cancelled my long bike ride. Instead I went for a long jog. I can’t help it. Jogging in the trail in snow is soo goood. Happy new year.
