One more race!

I almost forgot about Around the Bay! Saw this one last year when Pam was looking into it. Its a 30K race around Hamilton, Ontario, and will be my first race of that distance. Too far to drive on race day so I’d have to stay overnight in Canada. They have a drawing for a free trip to the Chicago Marathon. Wouldn’t that be funny? :D

    Oh well, at least one Canadian blogger will get to see you. I’ve heard good things about that race.

    HEY, I’m planning on doing Around The Bay this year again as well. I ran it last year and loved it. It’s such a great season openener.

    I’ve done Around the Bay each of the last two years. I love the race.

    Just be warned. There’s a big hill at kilometer 27. It’s pretty much the only hill in the entire course, but it’s a real eye opener.

    I will be running the ATB as well. Going to do a short distance with my friend (this is her first race). If u are coming up from the south, make sure you bring your parka ;D

    Woo Hoo! I smell an RBF encounter at ATB coming on! Pammy and I are thinking about doing it as a relay (I won’t be ready for it this year :( ) That and I can’t stand the killer hill near the end. If you need a place to crash you can stay here - I live 30 minutes away from the race start.

    Okay Jon, if you’re coming up I’ll make it out for that one! It would be a challenge for me to do that distance but I’d be willing to give it a shot!!
