Choxie is some of the foulest-tasting "chocolate" I've ever tasted. I'm very dissapointed, they put so much effort into the packaging, could they give us something besides partially-hydrogenated vegetable oil? I rarely find a chocolate I don't like, but I through away the truffles and the bars I bought after a bite.

Considering the association between sugar consumption and breast cancer risk, it is appalling that the Susan Komen foundation would partner with MASTERFOODS, the company that produces M&Ms to promote the sale of M&Ms. While there are some supposed benefits to consuming chocolate, it is the kind that is 70& cocao and organic, not the processed, chemical, sugary, milk-chocolate ingredients founds in M&Ms candies. I love chocolate as much as the next person but to promote breast cancer research in conjunction with M&M consumption is irresponsible marketing. It's like selling McDonald's French Fries and donating a portion of the proceeds to support obesity research!

I just bought a box of Choxie dark chocolate raspberry sticks at my local Target. It's advertised and packaged as premium chocolate, and folks this is the real deal. It may not be the highest end confection in the world, but it's very high quality and quite delicious. My one complaint (as with most American chocolates) is the filling has an almost chewy texture, which may have more to do with the manufacturing process than any actual American preference for chewy texture. I'll have to try the truffles soon. Hopefully they won't be chewy too. Truffles should be creamy and almost fluffy, imo. Off to map out all the nearest Targets in my area to hit on Nov 6! ;)

I just ran across these things today and ended up getting a row of seven truffle temptations and a box of artisan truffle tiles and both boxes proved to be quite delish! Especially with flavours like chili limon, jasmine tea and cinnamon praline! Definately worth the $5 each box cost and I'm goin back for more!

Is it just me or does that choxie box look HUGE! I think your keyboard is in the background so it is HUGE. How many milk chocolate twisted truffles come in that box? Are there any left? Mmmmm...enjoy!
