I dream of Lara.

I dreamt about Lara last night. I was at the New Haven Road Race and she was there in a group of people. She was wearing that head bandana and talking in a really animated and excited way. When she stopped, I wanted to say something but couldn’t think of anything and just kind of stammered, all I could think was that she must think I’m an idiot. Maybe I have a fear of looking like people finding out I’m an idiot.

I ran my 3 miles last night but no dogs to be seen. Tonight’s run will take me right past the 3-legged dog’s house so I’m pretty sure I’ll get some action. Heh, heh.

My legs are really sore from the 13-miler, which is very disappointing considering it was last Friday that I ran. I guess missing my crosstraining didn’t help. This week is a step-back week and the long run is only 10 miles, so I can rest up a little.

A little.

I’m making truffles for a friend’s friend’s bridal shower, or maybe its a baby shower (or maybe she just wanted 200 truffles for herself!). Gotta have those over there by Friday. And I gotta get my 7 miles tonight. And I need to head to the bank today after work to sign some papers. And I have an appointment tomorrow night after my 4 miles. And somewhere in there I need 4 hours every night for my project. I have the sneaking suspicion that I’m not going to get it all done, and the stupid thing is that by Saturday, I’ll have plenty of time.

And I need a nap. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…..

Have fun during your run tonight, maybe you’ll have an opportunity to zap the tripod. Jeff’s comment has me thinking of a tuna sandwich.

How funny because in reality I think it would be exactly the opposite. I think I’m mostly kind of shy and quiet and maybe not a great conversationalist.

Wouldn’t it be cool if this was actually a premonition and by some fateful turn of events you ended up in New Haven!

    Bring truffles!!

Was she wearing anything *besides* the head bandana? Because I’m thinking this could have been a whole other kind of dream.
