Is the ultrasonic dog repellent a big heavy club? Let you double up & get some resistance in there with the CV.

Or maybe you could train some bears to run with you. That would be pretty cool.

I can't wait to hear an update about the dog repeller. I'm sick to death of ankle-biters chasing after me for blocks on end (although it does usually end with me getting fired up and having a great race time.) Congrats on the 12-miler!

I'm glad I haven't had this issue yet. As much as I love dogs, I sure don't want one running after me. Hope the stuff works for you Jon.

Hey Jon, thanks for the story and the links regarding the dogs. It's not a huge problem where we live, but when I travel, there are often dogs that I am of course not familiar with so I don't know if they are a threat or not. I'll be checking these links out.

I read the description for the dog-repeller: " It emits an ultrasonic blast to startle the dog to make it stop doing what ever it is doing and pay attention to you." I wonder if this works with the dog OWNERS! Just wondering...
