My Anniversary
Today is my 15th wedding anniversary. 15 years of perfect harmony and marital bliss.
:)
Well, 15 years of learning about each other and working through the rough spots together. I think we’ve done pretty good. We have a good home, a good kid (when he’s not driving us crazy :) ), and lots of options in life that many people don’t have. Can’t beat that with a stick.
Oh yeah, and Saturday is the 18th anniversary of when she said “yes”. I bet you thought us guys didn’t remember that stuff, huh? We do. Um, usually. :)

Happy Aniversary, Jon! I was just saying the other day to someone, “Back in the good old days, people died at 30 so they only had to put up with their spouses for 10 or 15 years, tops. I think we’re pushing something that wasn’t meant to be!” Of course this is something only a single person would say. I’m sure I’m just lonely and bitter. :) Once again, congratulations!

Aaaw..How sweet! Congratulations.
Once I heard my mom in-law talking about us to a friend and heard her say how long we’d been married. It’s been more than 10 years and afraid to jinx it by looking up the date (one of the fall months ending in er but not October.)

Belated Congrats! Did I read your post right - you and your wife got engaged 18 years ago (when she said ‘yes’) and you got married 15 years ago? Or did I just totally mess that up?! I ask b/c my fiance and I have been engaged for 1 1/2 years and we’re finally getting married in August.
