Back to the trail
Yesterday morning I ran my 5 mile long run in the woods. My first trail run since the race. No snow this time, and everything was coming up green too. It was kinda wierd to be back there and have it seem like months apart.
Can’t remember my time but the pace was just about 9:00 which is where I wanted to be anyway, I think. The downhills made me a little sore. I had forgotten just how rough they are, especially the steep ones. Maybe long runs on the trails are not going to be such a good idea after all. Maybe the Thursday run instead. I don’t know. I’ll think of something.
Not much more to talk about. I had a good idea for something in this entry but I can’t seem to think of it now. Feeling a little confused today for some reason.
Anyway, hope your runs are going well. Today is Pam’s birthday, by the way. She turns 45 today. :)

LOL I always get great ideas for my blog when running and the moment I sit down in front of my pc, my brain goes blank. Eventually half of it comes back and later I go Oh sh*t, I forgot to put …. in.
Actually what’s worse is when you have a great idea but you decide to read your friends’ blogs first only to discover they stole your idea. :-)
Oh well. Good job on the trail run.

Jon the Chocolate Runner will now become known as DMW - a.k.a. - Dead Man Walking, or maybe you’ll be Dead Man Running!

Too bad ’bout the Warehouse. Had our own run-in with delivery a couple months ago.

5 miles is THE PERFECT trail distance. You might not want to tell Pam your next running route, however…

You might have to relocate and start a new blog as well in Botswana to avoid Pam. You need to stay alive so I can continue to read your blogs.
