Not much going on
I went to the gym last night to get some stretching done. No running. I want to give my foot and knee some more time. My right knee was incredibly tight and I’m very certain is has an area that is swollen. When I squat down it feels like its bruised. I think I definately hit it wrong going down a hill or something and pushing it backwards hard and hyperextended it. Or hypoextended it. Or something but it bent in the direction is wasn’t supposed to go. Argh.
And my left foot still hurts but for some reason I feel justified ignoring that because it doesn’t hurt alot. Its probably the more serious issue though.
I did 30 minutes on the bike last night just to get some cardio. Boring. Zzzzzzz.
I’ll be busy dealing with Grandma’s house for a couple days I suspect so I probably won’t post till after that’s done. I took the days off work so I wouldn’t be up late and exhausted doing this at night.
Hope you all are having a good week.

Take a book for the stationary bikes. If you’re doing it right, you won’t be able to focus, but at least you’ll look cool…

Sorry about the injury. You have had your share.(Don’t forget your own recommendation for ice baths.) Hope the work at grandma’s isn’t too difficult.

Maybe you could find something, some actual part of the house to keep. Like those hardwood floors… is there a place where you can take a chunk… so you have the wood to remind you of what supported your family for all those years.
There was an old garage out back at a place i rented once. They came to tear it down, and I’ll always regret not taking the piece of wall where someone back in the 40’s had written his oil change schedule for his car.

Good on you for taking care of yourself and taking the time off. Good luck to you with it all!

Maybe not running for a few days while your taking care of your Grandma’s house will remedy the injuries. I HATE my exercise bike. It is on the market!

Heal quickly. Rest, recover, relax, and then…run!

Over the river and through the woods to Grandma’s house you went. The state knows the way to ruin your day and now your knee is bent.
Good luck pulling your world back together. Take pictures. You’ll remember better tht way.

Disassembling a home is never easy, and certainly not under such circumstances. Hope it’s going as well as it can.
And rest up those sore spots!
Take care Jon.
