4 miles easy
Did my 4 miles at the gym on the ‘mill. Things started to get crowded as I hit my 30 minute mark and there was some young thing standing there, scanning the sign up sheets, and looking longingly at the treadmills.
“You can have mine! Here! I’m all done! Yup! All done! Take this one! PLEASE!”
I’m such an idiot. :D
Did the last half mile on the track.
Tonight I have a 40 minute tempo run. I may end up doing the last 10 minutes on the track again. I need to spend a minute planning out how fast to be running for each part of this.
Is anyone else racing this weekend?

Oh I hate it when the gym is crowded and I have to be nice and give the treadmill away after 30 min…You know what happened to me yesterday? I had planned a 40 min. easy run while watching “America’s Next Top Model” (don’t ask…) on tv - the tv at the gym did not have cable and I had to watch evening news instead, how most boring :/

Male, idiot, not much difference at times.

definitely sounds like a man thing, not so much idiot. I may be running a 7k, now that I wrote that down I seriously have to consider it.

St. Pat’s 10k Sunday morning, same as Dawn, only longer. Maybe if I wear some green I’ll have better luck at a PR :)

Uh, yeah. As you know I’m running my 2nd half-marathon in a week. I take it from your reprimand that this is not a good idea . . . ?
Any advice (apart from “don’t do it”)?

I’m running a St. Pat’s 10k this Saturday. Good job on the lower-body weights workout!

Just watched an “eye-batter” this morning get a man to give up his elliptical trainer that he had been on for all of 5 mins! Too funny!
