Nice day!
Just a beautiful day outside today. Clouds and fog but warm. 63F while I ran. Just marvelous for November. I had planned on the gym but I’ll take running outside any day that I can get it.
I did an hour of crosstraining yesterday and I was a little sore from the race still. Isn’t that kinda long? My right leg is pretty sore and the calf is tight. Its sore all up and down my lower leg. Inside. I was thinking it may actually be in my ankle and the pain just kind of radiates up. I don’t know.
Anyway, the run was good. I felt a little like I was dragging. I left the heart rate monitor and radio at home on purpose. I think I need to spend more time running while I’m running and less time trying to distract myself with something else to pass the time. Ofcourse, I did bring the Forerunner because I’m not that strong about foregoing my technology.
Ghostrunner had this to say about my three miles:
Mile 1, 8:57
Mile 2, 8:53
Mile 3, 8:44
I was very proud of myself for getting my mile times so close to each other. Ofcourse, the pace within in each mile was all over the place but I’ll take what I can get for now. :)
How was your run today?

Those are great times, Jon. And it sounds like the runs are getting smoother for you (less pain?).

My hamster run on the treadmill was awesome, just a quick tempo run for three miles, but then I mixed up walking with sprints and hills for another three. :)

NO run today. No run at all! You know haven’t logged enough miles in the week when the full flight of stairs to the bedrooms to make me feel my quads.
boohoo.
Glad you had a great run though.

Damn! You’re so fast! Must be all that good rest you gave yourself. I’m in awe.
Also, heard of a new recipe book out recently called Pure Chocolate, sounded up your alley.
