Crosstraining
I did my hour of crosstraining today. I don’t think the shins are ready to run yet. I want them to get as close to completely healed as possible because they just aren’t going to get better while I am running. So I did 20 minutes on the bike and 40 minutes of stepper.
Tomorrow is weights day. I’ve been thinking alot about the core body strength stuff and I think I need to concentrate on that. So, tomorrow I’m running the full set since I’ve been away from it for a while. Upper, lower, the whole shot. You might say its All Weights Day. Heh, heh. Get it? All Weights Day? Like All Hallow’s Eve but kinda like All Saints Day at the same time? Ok, it sucked. Shut up. Its still all weights day.
Not much else to. We carved pumpkin yesterday. We went to the place with the giant ones but he said the field was too muddy to go pick your own that day so we had to pick from the wagon. I think it was just too late in the day and he didn’t want to go out again. Wimp.
I bought Halloween candy although we never get people at our house because 1) its in the boonies, and 2) we are too far from the road to make it worth the walk for one piece. Just be aware that we usually leave the WHOLE BOWL out there, in case anyone does come up. Last chance for a giant bowl of candy.

Ooooooo! Lovely pumpkin! We have one sitting in the living room, waiting for someone to carve it… barring a miracle, it will just stay there uncut. =)

So is it good candy or, like yucky Sweet Tarts or Dum Dum suckers? I need to know before I commit to the trip.

Oh no, Lara, only the best halloween candy. Kit Kat, 3 Musketeers, Milky Way, M&M’s, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate. OK, Ghirardelli Squares would have been nicer, or Scharfen Berger Nibby Bars would have been out of this world, but nobody appreciates fine chocolate on Halloween. :)

I would drive to michigan for a big bowl of candy at this point. Especially if it involves M&Ms

It just so happened I was wandering around in the boonies in Michigan this weekend and happened upon a whole bowl of candy! What a coincidence!
