HOT!
4 more miles with the trolley this AM. 36:00. But I got out there really late so it was almost 10:00 and getting into the 70’s already. The sun was out today and there’s not much shade on the path so it was darn hot. I really, really wanted to stop. Thinking about the bloggers out there that said the same thing, but didn’t stop, made me keep going.
I was glad I brought extra water in the car because I really needed it. And the banana. And chocolate milk when I got home. :)
I had to stop a couple times because my pat-strap was slipping. I wore it today because I feel like I really pushed stuff the other day and didn’t want to twang it more today. I think I will wear it more during the week while my leg recovers from the long runs. When my abductor strength is at my goal, then I think its ok to stop altogether.
There were two giant hawks flying around and one wooly bear caterpillar. Not much other wildlife, except for a few bike riders.
Just noticed I didn’t note my time Sunday, 6 miles, 55 minutes and change. I spent Monday doing a short 1 mile walk through a local limestone cave. Cool boat ride and all that. My son had a ball except got a little nervous when they turned off the lights to show us total darkness.
Tomorrow is 2 miles or crosstraining but its likely I won’t be able to do either. Depends on how early I get up.

Just wanted to say that I like the idea of bike riders as “other wildlife.” Sounds like a great place to run.
