Welcome to my new home!

Mark has kindly allowed me to take up residence here. Blogger was killing me. I’ve tried to move everything over, links and archives, but if I missed something you use, let me know. THANKS, MARK!!!!

In other news, I ran 5.5 miles today at an average pace of 9:09. The faster speed seemed more comfortable for me. My HR was up there a bit but hopefully it will start moving down, like it did when I first started running.

My knee wasn’t sore when I stopped but after a short walk on the track it started to hurt. If I am sitting down for a while its sore to walk on it again. Tomorrow I was planning on some light crosstraining since today was alot harder than usual. Maybe lower body weights. Monday is rest day for certain.

Nice new home, Jon. Great run, too. I had a bite (ok, two) of dark chocolate to celebrate with
you. By the way, your comment section runs into the sidebar unless you hit enter just
before you get there…just thought you might want to know. (Did that make sense?)

Hi Susan, yes I noticed that about the comments. Mark’s does it too. I’m not sure how to fix it htough.

I know you’ve tried a million things for your leg/knee/shins…have you tried a knee brace yet? I’ve had great success with mine and cannot recommend it enough. I have a woven Ace bandage type with a hole for the knee cap and “stabilizers” on the side.

Jon, the kiss is just part of our new coaching program. It’ll make you run faster or you’ll die trying.
